One-Year Workmanship Warranty
Static Cabling Communications LLC ("Company") warrants all labor and workmanship on network cabling installations and related services for a period of one (1) year from the date of substantial completion of the project.
This warranty covers defects in workmanship including, but not limited to:
- Improper cable terminations
- Incorrect cable routing or installation
- Defective connections at patch panels, jacks, or outlets
- Labeling errors
- Installation failures that result in network performance issues
Materials Warranty
Materials and components are covered under the original manufacturer's warranty. Static Cabling will assist customers in processing manufacturer warranty claims during the warranty period. Manufacturer warranties may extend beyond the Company's one-year workmanship warranty and vary by product. Documentation of manufacturer warranties will be provided upon project completion.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover issues arising from:
- Damage caused by the customer, third parties, or acts of nature
- Modifications made by anyone other than Company personnel
- Normal wear and tear
- Power surges, lightning strikes, or electrical events
- Improper use or abuse of the installed systems
- Environmental factors including water damage, extreme temperatures, or chemical exposure
- Equipment or systems not installed by the Company
- Issues caused by customer-provided equipment or materials
Limitation of Liability
In accordance with the Texas Business & Commerce Code and general principles of Texas contract law, the liability of Static Cabling Communications LLC shall be limited as follows:
Maximum Liability: The Company's total liability under this warranty or any claim arising from services rendered shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
Consequential Damages: The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, loss of data, or loss of use, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Exclusive Remedy: The customer's sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty is repair or replacement of defective workmanship at the Company's discretion.
Texas Law Compliance
This warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. The following Texas statutes and codes are relevant to this warranty agreement:
- Texas Business & Commerce Code § 2.316: Regarding exclusion or modification of warranties
- Texas Business & Commerce Code § 2.719: Regarding contractual modification or limitation of remedy
- Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA): We operate in full compliance with consumer protection requirements
- Texas Property Code: Applicable provisions regarding construction and service warranties
Any disputes arising under this warranty shall be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas, or through mutually agreed-upon alternative dispute resolution.
